Cranberry Town Center Pushed to 2010

Filed under: Cranberry Town Center — Paul @ 9:28 am

I just found a posting on the Simon website (Simon is the developer of Cranberry Town Center) projecting that the 1st phase of the center won’t open until Fall of 2010.  Previously they were showing this as Fall 2009.  Bummer!

Cranberry Town Center

This one apparently has been in the works for quite some time, but it sounds like they are getting very close to getting the deal done.  Cranberry Town Center, targeted to be opened in fall 2009, will be the largest, most distinctive shopping and entertainment destination in Cranberry Township. It will be located in the northeast quadrant of the intersection of Pennsylvania State Route 228 and U.S. Route 19.

The 885,000-square-foot mixed-use Cranberry Town Center will be a true “town center.” Visitors will take advantage of the mix of major anchors, fashion retailers, home furnishings and sports-related junior
anchors, restaurants and a multi-screen theater. Additionally, Cranberry Town Center will also feature condominiums, Class A commercial offi ce space and a hotel. The Town Center is certain to be a premier shopping and entertainment destination in the region.

The open-air project will be designed with characteristics unique to the Cranberry community. An emphasis will be placed on creating inviting and memorable spaces normally associated with the most
attractive downtown shopping districts. Cranberry Town Center will provide a convenient and unique shopping and leisure-time setting to be enjoyed by the entire community.

Here’s a link to the promotional document for prospective retailers, but it has some interesting info:
